Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
Terms & Conditions
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Customers wishing to return products must submit a completed 'Return for Refund' form to our Customer Care department before the expiry of the 14 day period.
* The product/s must be delivered to the Shannen Living warehouse, at customers own cost.
* Goods must reach Shannen Living within 7 days after the expiry of the 14 day period.
* To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
* Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
* Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery
* Any items bought on credit which are returned- 5% of the original loan value will be clawed back in lieu of the credit provider's handling fee
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. Kindly contact us at Shannenliving@gmail.com and we will advise accordingly.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
To return your product, you should mail us at email@example.com and we will advise you accordingly.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping/delivery costs for returning your item. Shipping/delivery costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping/delivery will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over R75, you should consider using a trackable shipping/delivery service or purchasing shipping/delivery insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.

SECTION 4 - SHOPIFY
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

All prices advertised on this website exclude delivery.
Delivery fees shall cover delivery to all major cities and towns and areas generally and/or regularly serviced by our couriers. In the event of far outlying towns, mines, farms or any delivery area whereby the courier service may levy a surcharge on the delivery, the surcharge will first be communicated and cleared with the customer before dispatching the order.
All orders will only be dispatched once payment is cleared and reflects in our account.
Deliveries generally take between 2-5 business days from date of dispatch.
Made to order items can take between 14-28 days to deliver from date of order.
SECTION 5 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.
However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.

Prices published on the website is only valid for in-stock items and in the event where a product may have sold out prior to it being updated on the website, a new quoted price may apply.
Over 95% of products advertised on this website are in stock, with only a minority of lines with low or no-stock status.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
You understand that your content (not including credit card information), may be transferred unencrypted and involve (a) transmissions over various networks; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks.

SECTION 3 - ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS AND TIMELINESS OF INFORMATION

4 Receipt & Inspection of Goods
4.1 It is the customer’s responsibility to properly inspect goods delivered.
4.2 Should packaging be visibly damaged a clear note must be made in pen on the courier waybill stating 'PACKAGING DAMAGED, GOODS NOT CHECKED'.
4.3 Customers should ensure that the correct number of cartons as indicated on the waybill is received before signing the waybill. Note however, that the number of cartons may not correspond to the number of items you have purchased as more than one item may be packaged in a single carton. Only the number of 'packages' as indicated on the waybill should be verified before signing for such.
4.4 Once a waybill has been signed without notes being made as to any discrepancies or damages, the signed waybill be considered valid and claims to shortage of packages or damage to packaging will not be accepted.
4.5 Shannen Living only guarantees delivery to the delivery address supplied by customer, but will not verify the identity of the person signing for the goods and therefore cannot make guarantee delivery to a specific individual. Any individual present at the delivery address on the date of delivery and accepting the goods shall be considered authorised to receive the delivery on behalf of the customer and responsible to inspect goods in accordance to points 4.1-4.4 above.
4.6 Any discrepancies or damages noted at time of delivery and documented on waybill must be communicated to Shannen Living within 24 hours. Goods should be inspected thoroughly by the customer for any damages, or shortage within the first 24 hours, and reported within the same timeframe in writing to Shannen Living’s Customer Care Department. Shannen Living will not honour claims of damages or shortages if reported at any later stage.
5 Competitions and Giveaways
5.1 In the event of any competitions or product give-aways, all winners are required to contact us directly to claim their prize.
5.2 Any and all prizes not claimed within 30 days after announcement of winners will be forfeited without exception.
5.3 All winners of any and all Shannen Living competitions will be solely announced on our Facebook page and it will be the responsibility of the entrant to visit our Facebook page on announcement dates.
5.4 Entering a competition does not guarantee any prizes. Winners are randomly chosen and announced. Winners are final and entrants do not have the right to appeal the results. By entering into any of our competitions, the entrant agrees to these terms.
6 Coupons & Vouchers
6.1 Discount coupons are only valid for the period as published.
6.2 Vouchers are valid for a period of 6 (six) months from date of issue.
6.3 Coupons and vouchers are not valid towards any credit/account purchases.
6.4 Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash. Customers who purchased a voucher and wishes to cancel the purchase must do so within 7 (seven) days from purchase date.
6.5 If a customer has received a voucher free of charge with any purchase and at any later stage a refund or part-refund is approved towards the purchase, the voucher shall automatically be cancelled. In the event that the voucher has already been redeemed, the value of such voucher will be deducted from the final refund.
7 Credit / Accounts
7.1 All accounts and credit finance is offered by a third party financial services provider.
7.2 The credit provider grants credit at it's own discretion and acceptance or decline of applications are not in the domain of Shannen Living.
7.3 In the event where a refund is passed for any item purchased on credit, finance fees and interest accrued during the period of finance will be unconditionally due to Finyou and will not be refunded.
CONDITIONS OF SALE
1. Lay buys will be kept for a period of 6 months. If not collected within 6 months prices will be subject to alteration or goods will be sold to defray expenses.
2. Prices are subject to revision should there be any legitimate error on behalf of the salesman.
3. Goods may not be returned or exchanged if specially ordered or bought on sale.

5. The seller undertakes to execute all deliveries as soon as possible and according to the expected date of delivery as specified on this agreement, but do not accept any liability for damages which may be suffered as a result of a delay with such delivery.
6.The purchaser shall not be entitled to cancel the contract simply because the estimated date of delivery had not been met, without a written demand to the seller to affect delivery. The above- mentioned demand must give the seller 14 (fourteen) days from the date of receipt of letter by him to make such delivery.
7. The purchaser undertakes to accept delivery of goods within five days from date of receipt of ordered goods from the factory by the seller. The seller will be entitled to charge storage at a rate of 4% of the selling price per month if the purchaser does not comply to the delivery period mentioned above. 8. Factory guarantees will be handled as follows:
9. The seller undertakes to assist the purchaser in the event of guaranteed claims.
10. The purchaser will, however, be responsible to deliver the damaged articles to the seller’s premises and to collect the articles again after they have been repaired
11. The purchaser will, not on request, do the collection and redelivery of repaired articles, but the normal delivery fees will be paid by the purchaser.
12. Only the conditions as set out in this agreement will form the basis of the contract between the seller and the purchaser. It is further understood that no other conditions or guarantees given by the seller or his agent are binding unless it has been agreed upon as a written and signed amendment to this contract.
13. In the event of a dispute between the seller and the purchaser, both parties to the agreement agree to the jurisdiction of the Magistrate’s Court of Johannesburg to hear such a dispute.
14. The purchaser will be responsible for all legal costs (including legal costs on attorney-and-client scale and cost of collection) that the seller may have to enter into in order to recover monies owed under this agreement
